Afrimotional Marketing Expert

I study how Africans buy. Then I teach it. Now I'm building the tools.

They call me The Commando. Most marketing advice wasn't built for our market. I teach what actually works here — frameworks tested in the trenches, not borrowed from textbooks.

The Journey

13 years of building, breaking, and rebuilding

2012

Techoravia

Started a small web design agency. Just me and a few interns, building websites for politicians and business owners. Nothing big — but it was the beginning.

2016

Dropped Out. Went All In.

Left school to build myPadi.ng — a student housing platform. Raised funding from EchoVC and Ventures Platform. Got featured on Channels TV, Vanguard, CGTN Africa. Spoke at TEDx. Represented Nigeria at GITEX Dubai. It was working.

2019

Complete Shutdown

myPadi died. Not "pivoted." Not "on pause." Dead. Website went offline. Social media went dark. The startup I dropped out of school for — gone. I was broke, broken, and had to figure out how to eat.

2019 – 2020

Survival Mode

I took to e-commerce. Mini-importation. Retail selling. The full grind of Nigerian business — SARS stops, POD nightmares, products that flopped. But I quickly realized something: distribution and trust are everything in this market.

2021+

SWOF & EVAA Were Born

I turned what I learned into frameworks. SWOF for wholesale and distribution. EVAA for emotional video ads. Started teaching other business owners. 8,000+ students later, they've done over ₦20 billion in sales.

Now

Building Bizthom

Courses taught me what works. Now I'm building the tools. Bizthom is a SaaS platform for African sellers — the weapons to match the knowledge.

What I Believe

The principles that shape how I think and build.

"Business is hard. In Africa, it's war."

The businesses that win here won't do it with borrowed strategies. They need knowledge and tools built for this terrain — frameworks that understand Africans deep beneath the skin.

"Say what others won't say. Do what others won't do."

I'm rebellious by nature. It shows in how I think, teach, and build. The safe path is crowded. The uncomfortable truth is where the advantage lives.

"Afrimotions — because we don't just feel, we perform emotions."

A Nigerian celebrating a new car? It's pepper dem season. "My enemies didn't win." "#WhatGodCannotDoDoesNotExist." Now imagine an American celebrating a car? "OMG I just got my dream car!"

Same event. Completely different expression. One is personal joy. The other is a public performance — directed at enemies, doubters, and everyone watching.

In Africa, we have emotions in abundance. We don't just feel — we perform. All it takes for a mother to tell her child not to eat from neighbors is a single look. No words. That's Afrimotions. A whole emotional language that Western marketing will never understand.

"I learned emotional marketing from my environment."

I grew up in a rural face-me-I-face-you settlement. Envy, shame, and status had legs — they walked around the compound. I watched a neighbor buy chicken not because she craved it, but to remind another woman they weren't mates.

When my mother couldn't afford to send me to university, she wasn't worried I might not turn out well. She was worried about the shame — the shame of not being able to send her only child to school. A child she managed to have at 40.

That's emotional marketing. My environment gave me the sample size. Data shows most Africans still live this way — communal, rural, where emotions run deep.
